The new Steamboat Springs, Colorado fire station spans over 18,000 square feet across two levels, meticulously designed to serve the community’s needs. Its exterior seamlessly blends modern functionality with rustic mountain aesthetics. The station features a three-bay drivethru access, providing flexibility in apparatus placement and enhancing rapid response capabilities. Inside, the second story houses sleeping quarters for firefighters, complete with crew amenities for their comfort and well-being. It also includes dedicated training and storage areas, ensuring that the firefighting team remains well-prepared at all times. A unique feature is the hose dry tower, equipped with a fire pole connection to the apparatus bay, facilitating swift deployment when duty calls.
