A new 82,000 square foot middle school featuring an expansive two-story commons area, a two-story glass media center, 6 general education classrooms, in addition to art and music rooms. Designed to serve 450 students and faculty, this $16 million middle school offers a modern learning atmosphere with more spacious and up-to-date science labs, as well as areas throughout the building where students and teachers can collaborate. With central themes of collaborative and flexible learning spaces, natural lighting and a media center at its heart, the new Solon Middle School met the growing and progressive community with a building that has the capacity to reflect the desired high level of education.
