A 106,000 square foot, four-story office building with mechanical penthouse and one level of below grade parking now sits at the corner of Eighth and Walnut Street in downtown Des Moines. This office building now houses EMC’s 1300 downtown employees and includes a gym, an auditorium, training rooms, printing facilities, an art gallery, event space and storage. It also includes 6,000 square feet of street-level retail space. The new EMC tower provides access to existing buildings to the south and east at multiple levels and includes a new concourse connecting to 7C-8C downtown skywalk bridge.
