Graham Construction partnered with The Graham Group to construct a 600,000 square foot general commodity warehouse for XPO Logistics in Des Moines, IA. This building is the second largest single building in Polk County. The tenant required a 125,000 square foot space that could maintain 50 degrees at 50% humidity which required an insulated demising wall and special construction to avoid condensation. The building is a 24’ clear conventional steel frame with load bearing precast exterior walls and a 60 mil TPO roof. The loading dock area has 48 dock doors and two on grade accessible overhead doors. The building uses an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) fire sprinkler system.
