Since 1929, Historic Kinnick Stadium has been a staple in collegiate football. Without disrupting the football schedule, the $90 million project has reshaped the game day experience for years to come. Completed in 2019, the north end zone expansion project replaced the existing seating with an upper and lower seating area separated by a premium club level and topped off with a state of the art large high definition video board. Raker Rhodes Engineering provided the structural design for the scoreboard structure, press room, skywalk, back of house service corridor as well as structural improvements and modifications to the existing stadium. HNTB Kansas City was the Project Engineer of Record for the project.
