Iowa State’s Economic-Development Core Facility now houses its economic development and company assistance programs and the Administration and Services of the ISU Research Park under one roof. The new building is the first building to be completed in the Iowa State University Research Park’s next major expansion phase. Providing excellent work space for all entities housed there, the Core Facility was designed with a large amount of collaboration and meeting space available for ISURP tenants, the university and external partners. Built with sustainability in mind, the building includes a rainwater capture system, geothermal system for heating and cooling, spandrel window panels, and natural lighting for 80% of the building.
